Alexandra Trovato
Perth, Western Australia | Born 1993
Alexandra Trovato is a Perth-based artist known for her abstract compositions, which blend photography, image manipulation, and fragmented painting techniques. Inspired by her cultural heritage, she transforms personal photographs into layered, thought-provoking artworks that explore identity, memory, and artistic expression.
Trovato’s creative journey took an unexpected turn in 2019 after attending an oil painting workshop, which solidified her passion for fine art. Before this, she briefly explored makeup artistry in 2018, a field that influenced her attention to colour, texture, and artistic detail.
Her work has been showcased in local Perth art exhibitions, contributing to Western Australia’s vibrant contemporary art scene. As an emerging artist, she continues to push the boundaries of abstract composition, exploring new ways to visually interpret cultural experiences and identity.
Trovato currently resides in Perth, Western Australia, where she actively participates in the local art community and continues to develop her artistic practice.
